Your Bridal Journey

To help you make the most of your appointment, we've put together a few helpful tips before you visit ZORO.

1. Start with Your Vision

Before you begin shopping, it’s helpful to have your wedding date and, ideally, your venue confirmed. The season, setting, and overall style of your celebration will naturally guide you towards the perfect gown.

2. Choose the Right Boutique

Finding your wedding dress is about so much more than shopping – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Choose a boutique where you feel understood, inspired, and genuinely cared for.

At ZORO, we offer a personalised experience, guiding you from your very first appointment through to your wedding day with expertise, honesty, and exceptional attention to detail.

3. Allow Plenty of Time

Most of our designer gowns are made especially for each bride and typically require between four and six months for production. We recommend beginning your dress journey seven to ten months before your wedding to allow sufficient time for fittings and alterations.

If your wedding is sooner, don’t worry. We also offer selected gowns available immediately, and some designers provide an express production service.

4. Book Your Private Appointment

Our bridal consultations are by appointment only, allowing us to dedicate our full attention to you throughout your visit.

Weekend appointments are in high demand. If you prefer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, we recommend visiting us during the week.

5. Set Your Budget

Having a clear budget helps your stylist curate a selection of gowns that perfectly match your expectations.

Please remember that alteration costs are quoted separately. If you’re looking for exceptional designer gowns at special prices, don’t miss our annual Sample Sale.

6. What to Bring

The most important thing? Your excitement.

We recommend wearing light make-up and styling your hair in a way that makes you feel your best, making it easier to imagine your complete bridal look. Shoes and accessories are available during your appointment. We recommend bringing a strapless bra if you have one.

7. Bring the Right People

Invite the people whose opinions matter most to you.

We recommend bringing no more than two or three guests who understand your personal style, will support your decisions, and will genuinely celebrate this special moment with you. A smaller group often creates a more relaxed atmosphere and allows your own feelings to guide your decision.

8. Share Your Inspiration

Feel free to bring photos or inspiration of gowns you love.

At the same time, keep an open mind. Our experienced bridal stylists know every detail of our collections and may introduce you to a gown you never expected to love. More often than not, that’s where the magic happens.

9. Finding the Perfect Fit

Once you’ve found your dream dress, we’ll carefully take your measurements.

Depending on the designer, your gown will either be made especially for you or ordered in the size that best matches your measurements using the designer’s sizing chart. Our goal is always to create the best possible foundation for a flawless fit.

10. Payment

To confirm your order, a 50% deposit is required when your purchase is completed.

The remaining balance is due once your gown arrives

11. Alterations

Every bride deserves a gown that fits beautifully.

Couture gowns are altered in our in-house atelier, where each adjustment is tailored specifically to you. Alteration costs depend on the work required and will be discussed during your first fitting.

Dresses from regular designers are altered by carefully selected specialist seamstresses. We’re happy to recommend trusted professionals who are experienced in working with our designer collections.

We look forward to welcoming you to ZORO and being part of one of the most meaningful moments of your bridal journey.
